Who is responsible
Pocket List is a trading name of WNU Limited. WNU Limited is the operator of this service and the controller for personal information processed through the website itself. It is registered in England and Wales under company number 17523032, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Privacy enquiries can be sent to privacy@pocket-list.com.
Information handled by the service
- Checklist contents: stored locally in your browser using local storage. They are not sent to Pocket List.
- Offline files: your browser may cache the app’s files so it can work offline.
- Technical logs: the hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and timestamps to deliver and secure the website.
- Consent choices: if advertising is enabled, a consent platform may store your privacy choices.
- Advertising data: after advertising is activated and where permitted by your choices, advertising providers may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, page activity and ad interactions.
Why information is used
Technical information is used to deliver the service, keep it secure and diagnose faults. Where non-essential advertising technology is introduced, it will be used only in accordance with the choices presented through the consent platform. Pocket List does not use checklist contents for advertising.
Legal bases
Website security and reliable delivery are pursued as legitimate interests. Non-essential storage and personalised advertising rely on consent where required. You may withdraw that consent through the privacy controls provided on the site once advertising is active.
Sharing and international transfers
Technical information may be processed by the website host and, after activation, by the consent and advertising providers identified in the consent interface. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Their applicable safeguards and details will be available through that interface and their privacy notices.
How long information is kept
Checklist items remain in your browser until you delete them, reset the list or clear browser storage. Hosting logs and advertising information are retained according to the relevant provider’s published retention periods and operational requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to request portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Contact privacy@pocket-list.com to make a request.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Pocket List is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. Do not enter information about children or other sensitive personal information.
